Andreas KRISCH

Andreas Krisch graduated in information systems at the University of Vienna and the Vienna University of Technology. He is President of European Digital Rights (EDRi, www.edri.org) and of the Austrian Association for Internet Users (VIBE!AT). In his professional capacity he is managing partner of mksult GmbH (www.mksult.at), an Austrian company providing consultancy services and technical expertise in the field of data protection.

As a member of the European Commission's RFID Expert Group on Privacy and Security and the European Commission's High Level Expert Group on the Internet of Things he regularly contributes to the European discussion on a data protection compliant adoption of Information Technology. He repeatedly provided his expertise on data protection, RFID and the Internet of Things to institutions such as the European Commission, the European Parliament, the Council of Europe and the OECD.
